Editing session

Today I changed the brightness contrast, because I felt it would reflect the thriller genre, because it leaves the viewer expecting or fretting of the disequilibium in the narrative. I added the soundtrack and suspenful music in the last few scenes, I feel that the level I editied it to be was perfect for the level of suspense the viewer needed to feel. I also with help of my teacher decided to copy and paste the sound of the protagonist calling her dog to the shot of her being attached, this is so that the viewer are reminded of the protagonist and how her distress, is being increased by her attacker. And also it emphasises the innocence of the character juxtoposed with the attacker's relentlessness as he proceeds to attack her even though she is seemingly just looking for her dog. I also added clips that I previously did not want for example when the radio wakes the protagonist up. I slowed down the speed of the clip, so that the sound ran into the next scene of someone stroking her dog. This is emphasising her thinking about her dog.
Next editing session I am going to extract still shots and make a few adjustments to the lighting in the concluding scenes.
